2011 Vermont Fine Furniture and Wood
Products Design Competition

The competition is open to woodworkers of all different skills in Vermont and is divided into three levels: professional, apprentice and student. The competition entries will be judged separately in their respective level.  An evening awards reception will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Jackson House Inn in Woodstock. Please review eligibility guidelines and contact the VWMA office or call 802-747-7900 with any questions.

Enter as a PROFESSIONAL woodworker:
Only pieces designed and made in Vermont, by Vermont woodworkers are eligible for entry in the competition. All pieces submitted will be judged at the design competition exhibit to be held September 24-25, 2011 at the Vermont Fine Furniture & Woodworking Festival in Woodstock, VT.

Enter as an APPRENTICE woodworker:
Only pieces designed and made in Vermont by a Vermont woodworking student/apprentice that has already graduated from a high school or technical center (students that graduate in June 2011 should enter in the separate high school level competition) and is not currently in business as a woodworker are eligible for entry in the competition.

High school age students will first enter their submission(s) into a photo judging process and finalists will be notified. Finalist entries will be on display at the exhibit at the Vermont Fine Furniture & Woodworking Festival in Woodstock, VT on September 24-25, 2011.
